<p>Just got my acceptance email at 6 MST last night. They say my packet is on the way. Does anybody know how crucial the CSS Profile is to receiving the financial aid award? As I hadn’t even heard about it till it was mentioned on their checklist. (I already have the FAFSA submitted)</p>

<p>The CSS Profile is the form they base the school’s need based aid, so it can be very crucial. You may not get a financial aid statement, or a favorable one, until you fill out the CSS Profile. This is the case with most liberal arts colleges.</p>
<p>Do fill out the CSS. My son’s fill award was held up because, like you, we didn’t know it was needed. The sooner you fill it out, the sooner you’ll find out about your aid package. It does take some time to complete it, so set aside several hours for your first one.</p>
