Strobel Honors Program full?

I recently e-mailed DePaul regarding my intention to be part of the Strobel program; unfortunately the e-mail I received back said the program was full and I had been waitlisted. Does anyone know my chances of getting in at this point? Not being a part of this program makes me reconsider going to DePaul.

If it helps at all I was waitlisted and got in. Ask them what position you are on the waitlist.

I’m current #11 on the wait list. Doesn’t look good, does it?

Actually it’s probably not that bad. The 100 people in the program now are just the first 100 they accepted, not all 100 will attend depaul. I would guess that more than 10% won’t even choose to go to depaul so you would be in. But I would call and ask historically about how many make it off the waitlist if they will tell you.

@Blaackmamba two weeks ago-ish (the thursday before Good Friday, whenever that was) I emailed the Honors College and asked if it were too late to apply. They told me that even though it was after the due date for applications to send it anyway. I filled out all the paperwork and essays and sent it overnight to Chicago from New Orleans through FedEx. Last week they sent me a letter saying that I was accepted into the Honors Program. How many people do they accept total?

^^^ honors program is different from strobel honors
