1) i've heard velleman's fall class is considerably more difficult than karns' in the spring--is this true?
2) has anyone taken, or know anyone who has taken, the class online during winter session? how is it?

ILR stats is supposed to be pretty straightforward, but I think you’re right-- I’ve read that Karns’ class is supposed to be easier in comparison.

I have to take statistics as one of my GT requirements and was researching the online winter session class…don’t do it! In my opinion, two weeks is WAY too sped up for a 4 credit class, and judging by the syllabus you’ll probably have to go through a chapter or two a day. Additionally, the class runs during winter break, meaning that you’ll likely have to cram in a semester’s worth of work during the holidays.

You could also consider PAM stats as another option. Best of luck!
