Okay so I was accepted into the University of Maryland and North Carolina State University. Since these schools are so similar, I don't know which one to choose. p.s. I'm sfudying biological sciences at both universities, in order to become a physical therapist in the future.

Can anyone help me figure out some pros and cons of each school to help me decide?

Thank you so much!

IS money an issue? Is one instate and the other not? Any advantage at one over the other in getting into a PT program? Do understand that those programs require education after the bachelor’s and they cost money, can cost a lot of money. If you have to borrow of that, you are better off, getting stash put towards it now and going to the less expensive choice.

Why do you think these schools are similar? Other than being large state schools, they are pretty different.

MD is the flagship school of Maryland, located outside of one of the largest major markets in the country, with a strong emphasis on science and technology.

NC State is a secondary state school located outside a small market city in North Carolina with a strong emphasis on engineering.

Money is definitely a factor is selecting my school. And UMD is instate.

Maryland seems like a no-brainer. I think Maryland in-state would even trump Chapel Hill.

I’m from NC and chose PSU over NC State - UMD would be a no brainier in your situation.

UMD clear winner for quality, location and price.
