Just as I was about to send in my deposit to Penn State, I received an acceptance letter from Case Western Reserve University along with a generous scholarship/grant (~$30,000 per year).

Now I'm stuck between the two. I really liked Penn State and Case Western, but I was assuming that I wouldn't be able to afford Case Western even if I was accepted. Now that I got my financial aid package, I can probably afford to go to either of them now.

I applied undecided to both schools, but I think I want to pursue Pre-Veterinary/Biology/Animal Science in order to go on to become a Veterinarian. Penn State has both Animal Science and Biology, while Case only has Biology (with no Pre-Vet, I'm assuming their Pre-Med wouldn't help me get into Vet school?).

I thought both campuses were beautiful, even though they were entirely different. Penn State was really lively and fun (aka Happy Valley!) and Case Western was more urban and unique. Case Western in 2 hours from my house, while Penn State is 3 hours.

I also love art & dance, so the college I pick must have decent programs in the visual/performing arts too.

Agh. I am so confused now. I was all set on Penn State until Case Western came in the mail. Which school would you pick if you were in my situation and why? Does anyone have any advice or opinions to help me out? :)

Thank you!
