Stuck in a Triple

Hey, i got my housing assignment and I got stuck in a triple even though I applied right after the registration opening because I chose first year experience. big mistake =(

Anyways, I am trying to make the best out of this situation and I was just wondering if anyone knew how big the triple's in lander hall were? Some people have told me they are just double rooms but with 3 people (sounds awful) while others have told me that they are a bit bigger than double rooms. Does anyone know which one it is?

Also, has anyone tried the double room request form and had success with it?

Thanks

I visited a triple room in lander and the one I visited, yes it was exactly the same as a double room, there was just an extra bed for the extra person.

that’s disappointing. =( Was there an extra closet and desk for the third person as well?

I got a triple too, and I applied a day after registration opened. My friend who applied pretty late and didn’t find out her room assignment until a few days ago got a double. Oh well, maybe it’s because I checked the box that said I rather have triple and be in the hall I want.
If triple in Lander is like in Terry, then yea, it sucks, there’s only 2 closets. So 2 people have to share one.

I have a triple in lander with First Year Experience too, and I didn’t even say I wanted that. I can deal with the small space but I really hope there are three closets. I’d be willing to sacrifice space for another one.

wow that sucks. i applied for lander the minute registration opened and i got a double.

Sorry to say, but I’m pretty sure in a triple room, 2 people will have to share closets. :frowning: Better get there early to claim it!

think of it optimistically

one more person you get to meet :D
