<p>Can anyone comment on the geographic representation at W&L? My son is very high on the school. He is a senior at a NJ prep school and I am wondering if the southern states make up the majority of the student body.</p>

<p>Represents 39 states, 23 foreign countries and possessions, and the District of Columbia </p>
<p>84% of the student body, excluding International students, are from out of state. </p>
<p>The states with the most representation in the class of 2012 excluding transfer and international students:</p>
<p>VA - 15.2%
NJ - 7.3%
MD - 7.3%
NC - 5.9%
NY - 4.5%
GA - 4.5%
CT - 4.3%
SC - 4.3%

TN - 2.5%
