Student Life at RPI

Can anyone tell me how the student life is at RPI? Clubs, Foods, Greek life, etc.?

There’s just too much to cover in a post and it really varies from person to person. If there’s a certain activity you want to pursue, you’ll have the chance to do so. You just need to take into account how much free time you’ll have left after factoring in your school work. Right now, people are anchoring down and committing to their academics; most people have finished their first tests by now. There will always be something to do; you just need to make the time to do it.

Personally, the work has been steadily increasing and the first round of testing is over so we’re all taking it pretty easy now. A lot of employer events and interviewing is going on so people are always busy either doing work, advancing their career, or participating in clubs/sports. Fun is always reserved for the weekends and this upcoming Columbus day weekend is highly welcomed by all. I’m not affiliated with a fraternity, but the parties they throw are always nice. All in all, life is pretty swell with a great balance of academics, career opportunities, and personal interests.
