<p>Hi everyone,
I am currently a sophomore and am planning to apply to transfer to Villanova in the spring. I was just wondering what the social scene is like for transfer students because I read that transfer students are usually placed in a separate dorm and feel secluded from the rest of the student body. Also, if I am accepted and decide to enroll, I would hope to join a fraternity. I know that second semester sophomore pledges are looked down upon at most universities and I just wanted to know if this is the case at Villanova.</p>

<p>one of my friends transfered in from ND and he’s fitting in just fine. you’ll be in a dorm with other transfers probably off campus but you still have classes and whatnot to make friends in… you’ll be fine you just have to make the effort. he rushed and made it to a frat too and is enjoying it… it’s really no big deal. you’ll be just fine :)</p>
