<p>Quick question from a student here. Have any of your children booked flights through studentuniverse.com? Are they a legitimate site? The costs of the flights seem too good to be true.</p>

<p>My son did one flight through student universe. It was cheaper then anything else I could find and it worked fine.</p>
<p>My kids have used student universe several times. They have never had a problem. They will verify if you are a student as some of the lower fares are only available to students and airlines use these specialized travel agency to control this. We have found they are particularly good for one way fares. As a matter of fact, sometimes searching two one way fares on student universe is cheaper than a round trip.</p>
<p>We have used it twice. It worked fine. Always double check. Sometimes it is cheaper. Sometimes it is not. Sometimes student universe has no flights available at all on the route you are looking for. If it is not cheaper, you can probably get more convenient times on a different travel web site.</p>
