Studios other than CAP21

Does anyone here have any information on Strasburg?

I have a friend at Tisch in Meisner, and she encouraged me to get more information about it, because the info they give you on the site "isn't really accurate."

thanks for the stuff about Atlantic! so i just had my audition for Tisch and i told them that i really really wanted to be at Atlantic, and i studied at Atlantic this summer, and I am still being coached by someone at Atlantic. do you think they really would place me in a studio other than Atlantic? i hope not!

steinygrrl, if you had compelling reasons why you felt drawn to Atlantic and they agree, then they will place you in Atlantic. But I do have to say I know of several students who asked for various studios as their first choice and were given different studios and now swear that the faculty's choice for them was better than their own! So keep an open mind.

Is you child there as part of the Tisch program or enrolled directly into SA? I ask b/c I'm trying to decide whether to enroll in their evening conservatory program. I really know very little about them. Is the program with RADA a junior-year-abroad thing?

Benjamin you seem a little confused...
The evening conservatory offered through SA is a two year conservatory program. The program offered through NYU/Tisch is a four year BFA program. I don't have any personal experience with SA, however it is an internationally renowned conservatory training program so I can only assume the best about it. The program with RADA that you are referring to has nothing to do with the SA conservatory. I believe it is a program that is offered through cooperation between Tisch and RADA.

What can anybody tell me about TW? I got placed in it, and I’m still a little confused on what kind of method they use. Is it anything similar to Strasberg or Adler?

Does anyone have some inside information on PH?

Thanks is advance!
