If u go to Duke, is there a limit for how many semesters u want to spend abroad? I know Duke is awesome but I'm just wondering cos I just looked @ their website and there are sooo many interesting programs!

Yes, two semesters and a summer is the limit:

It is notoriously difficult to have credits accepted from a non-approved institution/program/courses when matriculating at Duke as a transfer student. However, for Duke students that study abroad, it’s not nearly as difficult since there is a database of approved courses and at what institutions (and you can apply to extend that as well).

I don’t know why you’d want to go to Duke, though, if you’re going to just study abroad more than that. I know somebody who was on the Duke campus for only 2 years out of 4 (since he was at the marine lab in Beaufort, NC, which isn’t a transfer credit). I’m not sure if “Duke-In” programs are considered transfer credits or not (Duke professors, Duke grades, Duke tuition in a foreign country; I personally wouldn’t want to partake in those programs though).
