i dunno what to do. there are so many scholarships due this week... but i have APs monday, tuesday, and friday. which is more important. what's the ap credit useful for? easier to double major? etc.

Which APs, what's your major, what's your college, how much money do you absolutely need, how much would you like?

i have ap physics, gov, econ

major; something premed

need money, a lot of it

i just dont completely see the point of getting credit from these aps. that only means uve skipped all the easy underdiv. classes and are jumping into harder classes (lower gpa). am i thinking incorrectly?

The classes in the lower div aren't easy, and many upper divs grade more easily for the average student. You will get credit if you're in letters and sciences based on the following, although your major (pre-med isn't one in any way, shape, or form at Berkeley) might change things.

http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/faq/ap.html

You'll probably have to take some physics for med schools, gov and econ will give you credit and knowledge. Elective credits can mean lighter loads in the future, and can be nice to have. You might get advanced standing, giving you certain advantages such as better enrollment times for classes. I don't think many skip classes because of ap credit, although some do. If you feel comfortable you could, but it would be unwise to jump into, say, upper div econ with only high school econ knowledge and a passed ap test (unless you know it fairly well).
