<p>DD is looking to study in Lucknow, India for an academic year. Does anyone have any input on living and studying there?</p>
<p>I don’t know about Lucknow, but Indian schools have a bit of a bad reputation. </p>
<p>Being academically competitive is a plus, but some say the Indian schools take it to an extreme (suicides, etc). </p>
<p>Make sure she gets her vaccinations before she travels though.</p>

I can’t even put in words the depression I went through
I will say though that I learned WAY more than I’ve learned here in America. I’ve also made really good life-long friends there</p>
