Right now I avg about 650 in each math and writing, and mid 500s on CR. Should i just get both math and writing up to the 700s or practice getting 650 in CR?

I would try to raise all of them if possible. I don’t see what’s limiting you to one or the other. If you HAD to choose, I would bring up CR to make your scores more even.

Yeah, I think if you had to choose, try to bring up your CR score. Lopsided SAT scores can look bad. There are many decent colleges that you can get into with 650s.

I think sometimes you DO have to choose if your time to study is limited, which it can be if you have a lot of schoolwork and ECs.

Good luck!

Well, I’m not sure if I could raise all three scores in a month because I am pretty busy.

Raising these scores is definitely possible. ^^ I raised my CR from 500->660 and math 500–>700 after taking about 7+ practice tests in the summer.

I would say raise your math and reading. Although CR is really hard to raise for most people, it’s better to have better CR than better Writing…

Just take as many collegeboard practice tests as much as you can and review CAREFULLY. Also, write down the frequent mistakes/tricks you fall for, so you can avoid them.

Personally for me, math was the fastest to raise.
