Studying abroad Korea?

I know how Yonsei and Koryeoh universities offer scholarships for students outside Korea. Does anyone know average GPA/SAT requirements? And is anyone attending these schools? How hard is it to get in?

Not sure how hard it is to get in, but sounds like a great opportunity to see an interesting country.

Yeah, I know these are some of the top colleges in korea and has acceptance rates below that of ivys. But I heard it is much easier if you apply from US or another foreign country.

I really want to know. I am considering going to these universities for undergrad if possible.

I think what you've heard is true, because it is also much easier to be an international student in Taiwan at a top university than a domestic student. How did you become interested in being a full-time, matriculated student in a degree program in Korea? Most east Asian countries seem to practice some substantial "affirmative action" for international students, to make the campus experience more diverse for all the usual good educational reasons that United States universities also consider. (But in the United States, it is much HARDER to be an international student than to be a domestic student at the same university.)

Well I don't think I count as an international. My ethnicity is Korean and I was born there, but I don't have much memory living in korea. So I want to study and familiarize myself with my culture by studying undergrad there. And probably come back to US for grad school.
