studying for Bio,Chem,Physics,Us history and math II over the summer.

im planning on studying for these subjects over the summer. i took ap chem last year,so chem should not be a big problem to me....but bio, physics and math II are so annoying to me :(

how much time you think i need to study?because im going to be extremely busy :( im only going to be free on monday, saturday and friday.(from the beg.of the summer to 8/10) (target score:750+)

ps:i took one year of bio,physics,pre-cal and ap us.

that’s stupid, enjoy your damn summer and study like 1-2 at most.

That’s a lot of studying. You could possibly study for all those if you had the whole summer free and spent virtually all your time studying. If you’re going to be busy then that would seem really difficult to do, unless you are already very good at all those subjects.

Why are you doing 4, when I believe the most colleges require is 3? Correct me if I am “incorrecto”

Most colleges, as well, won’t look at more than 3.

but im probably going to apply to two top schools, such as cornell and JHU.do you think it’s gonna help if i take more than 3 subject tests?

im planning to take math II,chem, bio, physics and us history. if you think that’s too much, which ones do you think should be “OUT”?

NO dont plan to take more than 3 - most only look at 3. If you do badly on one then consider doing another or retaking that test. As for which ones need to be “out” choose your tests based on your strengths - unless you are applying for a particular program the SAT2 are all considered equal so it doesnt matter which you take .

Yeah there is no way you should take more than 3! That’s two test dates and major amounts of studying when two of those tests will not count. Pick the three that you think you will be best at. What I did was buy the college board book for all subject tests and take the ones I was considering and based on my scores/difficulty of the tests, I chose the ones to take. I would say choose one science and do math and ush, but it depends on your major and which ones you can get the closest to 800 on.

You will not succeed.

It’s funny how many people can’t correctly count.

To the OP, you shouldn’t take 5 subject test unless you are majoring in something language based (then you would take the language tests to say that you are fluent).

Just enjoy your summer and don’t be like me and kill yourself over this.

LOL! IT IS 5, NOT 4. LOLOL… omg. Well this explains my math score slipping from a perfect 800.

I would only take one of the science SAT’s. If you did fairly well in AP Chem i would take Chemistry

Hahaha…you can’t do this unless you are smart as anything. I am not saying its too much subjects, but I am saying its not enough time. Summer is enough time but you only have 3days a week so…yeah. I prepared for 3 last year and studied my but off and got 800 on bio, 800 on Math but 720 on US. So…yea.
