I have taken the SAT once, and I got a 2190 (740 M, 740 CR, 710 W). I am taking it again in January, so I have about a month to study. Ideally, I would like to bring my score up about 100 point to get about 2300. Do you think this is possible? What is the best way to study?

Your scores seem high enough that command of the material and ability to read are not so much of a problem as your attention to detail in reading the questions and answer choices. Are you slapping your forehead a lot when you see what you missed?

Vocab, the rules of grammar and usage, and spotting tricky details within the questions and answer choices may be good places to look for a few extra points.

Take practice tests and locate your weak spots. Look at WHY the right answers are right and the wrong answers are wrong.
