Studying for the June 7th SAT...

So, uhh I signed up for the June 7th SAT and I bought the "11 practice tests for the SAT from The Princeton Review" because I ran out of practice tests.

I was wondering whether those tests are accurate or even worth doing?
If not, then which book is better?

Thanks!

Barron's...
(Even though they're sort of more than the real thing, they really prepared me well).
I got a 100 points more than I was scoring on the practice tests.

Good luck! :)

I have Barron's but the tests look so different than the real ones but that's just my opinion. Are you sure the tests are worth it?

Definitely... plus they have explanations.

The 11 practice tests have explanations aswell...but I'll try Barron's. Thanks!

books suck. they're so different...ugh i had trouble w/ the CR because i can always think of a few different answers to questions but there will always be only one answer.

however on the reason SAT this wasn't the case. i think the questions are just written badly. anyways, i got about 690-740 on PR practice tests

no that book was terrible. just get grubers, the blue book, the online course, and kaplan 2400.

^ Barron's 2400 helped me a lot... (even though it didn't have practice tests on it)... (it basically went alongside the Barron's Original SAT book).

i didn't pay for the online course. i dont know how much it was but i didn't feel like shelling out more money -_-

The thing is that I have already exhausted the blue book, online course, and most of the past administered tests except for the 07-08 and 08-09 tests which if anybody has I would be glad to trade with him/her.

I'm trying out the PR tests right now and they don't seem too bad.

lol quick, you are taking the SATS so soon AGAIN? lol............

Lol, yeah because I have a big chance of not meeting my 2300 score. I think I missed like 6 CR, 1 W, and 1 M (this is going to kill my score with that supposedly harsh curve!). So I'm going to have to take it in June.

^ Watch you get like a 2350 now...

^ lol I wish! :)

dude.. you did fine.. like I said -6 will probably be 740, -1 780 Math, and -1 800 (10) or 780 (9) Writing

^ My thoughts exactly.

dude im super curious a/b your score. make sure you post when u get it. and if you reach your goal, I want you to waste your 43 dollars. and be happy about it. cool? deal? k.

Lol, watch me study super hard for the June 7th SAT and find out on May 22nd that I made a 2300+! Hahaha that would be hilarious! I would "Party Like a Rockstar" and like totally go berserk.

^ That's what I meant to imply in my last post. :p

It would be sooo funny if they like delayed your scores and you found out you got 2300+ AFTER you gave the June exam.

:p :p

No no, I know that would suck...
Sorry. Lol.

@Narcissa,

So, are the CR sections in 11 SAT Tests from Princeton Review harder than the CB one's? Because, I'm like missing more than normal. I don't know if it's because this is the first time in a week I've actually done a CR section or if the PR is crap and harder.
