Studying madarin for a year in Beijing

Hi guys,

So I need to decide what college I'll be attending to study Mandarin for a year in Beijing, and I have hard time choosing.
-Peking University:Dorm is unbelievably old
-Tsinghua University: they don't let language program students stay in their dorms
-Beijing Normal University: Program's good, dorm's good, but lots of foreigners
-Beijing Language and Cultural University: Program's good, dorm's good, but TONS of foreigners..
-Beijing International Studies University: This one seems to be best since there program's good, dorm is decent, and not lots of foreigners compared to the other universities, but someone told me that this one is at out of nowhere, which makes you really uncomfortable when you want to eat some home country food or go to a big grocery store. Also, it might not be safe to go outside of university after it gets dark. Really? I tried to look it up through google street view, but they don't let me do that. Does anyone know about this one?
-China Youth University for Political Sciences : They offer longer program with better price, and they even offer Fudao (I heard it's some kind of 1:1 private tutor?), and the dorm is great, but someone told me this is also located out of nowhere, which might be a little dangerous. I asked this one to my chinese friend, but she has never heard of this one.

This is a pretty long list, but I would appreciate if you can give me any kind of advice! Thanks in advance
