Studying tips?

I usually read through the chapter we'll be covering in class the night before, and highlight anything I think might be important and write any questions I have about the text, in the margins. After class, I read through the chapter again.

Do any of you have some tips that could help me be more efficient?

Outlining the chapter? I always understood things better if it was in my own handwriting (maybe it's just me).

Dartmouth's academic skills center does have excellent suggestions to help students with their study habits.

Cornell has has a great notetaking and studying system (Dartmouth references Cornell's notetaking system talks on their site).

Props to parent poster Originaloog who brought this to our attention

RIT's website really does a great job on Cornell's notetaking system

Also attaching the link Workload in college because it has a lot of good tips. Happy reading
