Study Methods...

I think it would be good for us to write up everything we do to help study better. Like techniques or methods you use...It would be great to us less smarter people here like me :D

What I do:

-Study/Homework in the library
-Whenever I get new notes, I study them briefly daily.
-Take 5 minute breaks after every 30 minutes of studying.

I say things outloud to help me remember them.

Cornell notes are good for straightfoward, vocab stuff.

Reviewing the same day usually helps.

I've never heard of Cornell notes but I looked them up. I skimmed over it but it sounds good. I'm gonna try that :)

I hate cornell notes....but maybe thats why i have a 3.5

i CRAM and I always get away w/ it. :D Usu Thursday nights are worst for me, but yet, I guess being regular will ease stuffs off, like 'listening' in class and taking notes and just doing what u r supposed to do.

I;ve never heard of Cornell notes. Contrary to what most teachers tell us, I try to write EVERYTHING down (when it's time to take notes). This way, I'm assured to keep focus and to repeat things in my head asap. This makes it say there and the latent iformation comes out during essays and tests -- it's great! ... well, for me anyway.

I don't study much. If teachers hold extra-help sessions, I usually go to just sit there and listen to the answers she gives to other students. I thumb through classwork, homework, and notes, and that gets me an A usually.

I guess I'm lucky that I'm freakishly good at remembering things.

I guess I'm lucky that I'm freakishly good at remembering things.---I'm simply opposite to this :( It's like I can't keep concentration for a long time and eventually I've to self study at home a lot :(

I lay down on my bed and read my notes, then i take a break and review again afterwards till I know it. if it comes to hw i watch tv while doing it.
