Studying

i study a little bit, but maybe 10 minutes, 30 minutes max. really, i dont know what it is. i dont think i;m smart or anything. i have a friend who is constantly studying, say... 4 hours a day. he sleeps for like 4 hours, and i still usually get higher grades than him. but, all in all, i do study more than most people at my school, which i suppose is why i rank 1.

congrats :]!

I study.......I study 5minutes before the teacher gives out the test.

Do you ace the test like that Eva?

I think studying is my biggest virtue and my biggest vice at the same time....people say I'm naturally smart, but I don't believe them, so I study like hell to get good grades. Sad part is when I'm not satisfied with the results, I break down in tears, because I feel like all my hard work has gone to waste. Lately it's been like a weekly routine. I hate AP cram time...sighh

i am just like you ladyinred. it's ok!!!

SNEAKiiE,
yeap......im such a weird person everyone says....but it's true, I tend to fail the test if i put time studying it.

Who cares whether someone studies or not, just worry about yourself and your own potential. Some people need to study more than others and there are people who don't need to study because they are actively retaining information during the lectures.

tell me how natural intelligence is more important than work ethic...

My studying consists of hustling the period before to cram facts into my mind.

bdreamm- It's not. Who said it is?

read above

it really depends on the subject for me. history, chemistry, english i dont study at all...calc i study like crazy the day before and moderetly 2 days before...physics i study moderetly the day before...

Yeah, it's just the amount of information that I have to "memorize". In history I'll probably study 3-4 hours the night before the test. Methods for some reason just stay in my head like in calculus.
