As a student at Columbia, can you get discounts on concerts, shows, and other events in the City?

yes they covered that in the preorientation program, and there’s a pamphlet in two of their mail packaging to you.

Im not a student at Columbia, Im a perspective student for the class of 2014.

Would you not attend Columbia if the answer to your question is no?

There’s a weekly CU Arts newsletter that lists the latest free/discounted entertainment options. There are sometimes discounts for Broadway shows, although you can usually get cheaper tickets (and sometimes better seats) through student rush. Your CUID will also get you into many museums for free.

No, If I was accepted, I would most likely attend. That just changes how I would most likely have to budget.

prospective, not perspective. where in upstate are you?

Your right! I wasn’t thinking grammatically.
Im in the Capital District.
