<p>Wait you have to write ED on your envelope?</p>
<p>Same here, I am missing 1 recommendation and I am not getting notifications !!!!! I am getting paranoid too.</p>
<p>I don't think i wrote ED either........and on mine it doesn't say my app has been forwarded to review -__- im missing 2 recs.......</p>
<p>but they said they will e-mail to tell me what im missing and i can then send them again without penalty...</p>
<p>TOT but im still worried....... it just got worse yesterday</p>
<p>I am figuring this out tommorow. Calling them and not letting them hang up until they find my second recommendation. The stress of wondering whether or not it is missing while others alread have their's under review is not good for my well-being. I do not understand how they can, at the same time, know that I am NOT missing items, but also not have a check mark next to everything. Either they are missing my second recommendation and they should email me, or they are not and it should have a check mark, but at this point neither of those cases are happening. I just have an X next to one of the recs with no email.</p>
<p>Well how about this...my application IS under review, and my second recommendation is not checked off. I think I read somewhere earlier that this is not uncommon, but how could they be reviewing it without the second rec?</p>

<p>abanks me too...under review and missing the 2nd rec. plus, I just had my alumni interview this weekend and wonder if the input from that will even get there in time considering they are already looking at the app.</p>
<p>i have no checkmarks except comm app and supplement.... and it doesn say that mine application is under review......</p>

<p>hey questionnn: what did you gusy put on your teacher rec envelopes and did you guys use a regular letter size or or tose huge manilla envelopes? Cuase I only put the address and the teacher's name on it. I didn't put "ED" or my name. and that's what i'm hoping is the delay cause they didn't process those ones yet. cuase neither of my teachers recs are in..!! thanks!</p>
<p>I called today. They claim they have everything, and are not sure why it is not updated on the computer system. I get the feeling that this is the case for a lot of other people.</p>
<p>...it's been 5 weeks since i mailed my stuff which includes secondary school report, transcript, n both teacher's recc. ...apparently, they've only received my finaid stuff. and i know for a fact that it only takes 4 days to get my stuff to cornell...</p>
<p>my school mailed everything in one envelope and it was all updated at once</p>

<p>YES! my 2nd recommendation was finally received. i was afraid i'd have to ask my teacher to re-send it
now i've just got to wait until dec. 15, 19, 20, etc..

<p>the only things i have missing is the school report/high school transcript/one teacher evaluation and those were the three items which were sent directly to the Hotel School, not the regular application processing center so it probably wouldn't show up on the self-service website.</p>
<p>what should i do?</p>
