Stupid Course Selections

That’s what I thought. :D

English :)

We have an Adult Living class, which is odd because it is pretty much the exact same as Consumer Education. The only difference seems to be that Consumer Education is “business” while Adult Living is “home ec.”

Independent Living, which is basically a sleep class. Then Childhood Literature, which they cover in Child Development, an entirely separate course that both do the same thing. It sucks when you’re school has a daycare because over 30% of the girls here get pregnant.

My school has horticulture. I was going to take it as 1/2 of my Science credit for my senior year, but my sister convinced me to take physics. Lol it was gonna be sooo sick. Oh well.

^^Soundsss intense.

Going to a catholic high school, RELIGION. It is just like any other class, so it takes up an entire period, every single year -_- And gym is all 4 years… I know some school who only have like a 2 year requirement, or part of it can be switched for health. 1 semester of health and 1 semester of computer science is a waste of time in my opinion. If I didnt have to do all these I would probably take an extra science class, or even art

^^^^Yea we have a daycare and child development courses too. I use to help out after lunch and one little girls mom was 15 and she’s 2…yea u do the math, lol, nice kid though.

Are you serious? That is so sad.

Spanish for Spanish speakers.

^That’s AP Spanish at my school, as is French, but of course there are people that don’t already speak spanish/french fluently taking it, it’s like 5 or 6 fluent speakers per AP Language out of 20.

^^^Yea, not to mention the lady who runs the damn daycare, her daughter has like a 18 month old kid and she’s 16. The girls at my school are stupid.

^^ Lmao, we have that class too. All the spanish speakers are always like i’m not taking it cause the person who teaches it isn’t even a native speaker.

The guys must be stupid too. It takes two to make a baby.

I want to be in that class…NOW!

Spanish for Native Speakers was stooopid to me.

Health class was even stupider. They had this whole “ABSTINENCE OR DIE” mentality.

It was funny, because I went to an inner-city school before high school, and I learned about animal skin condoms and the likes in class. Yet in suburban high school, pr0n is BAD and birth control NEVER WORKS.

I’d say both city and suburban kids are equally as horny.

Yeah… at a different gov school people got busted for having sex.

One in the library, one behind some trees

Stupid Courses:
Algebra 1-I-For people that can’t handle Algebra 1
Math Lab-Required with above course.

Business Foundations-Semester course, I hear it’s like $2+$2=$4 and stuff like that
Computer Keyboarding-It’s a required course at the middle school, it’s optional duplicate at HS
The School Store-Sell stuff during school hours
Introduction to Life And Careers-a semester of talking to your guidance counselor
Current Health Issues-Like another DARE
Earth/Space Science I-For those who can’t handle biology
Multiculturalism-A class focused on not being racist

^Wow, Multiculturalism. Has your school had racial issues in the past or are they just trying too hard to be politically correct?

It’s in Northern Indiana so I don’t think so…

The funny thing is, you’re required to have a 2.0 Cumulative GPA to take that class.

^ what kind of stuff do they sell in The School Store?
