So, I saw the post on required courses.
It reminded me of my school. Next year I have so many required courses I can't fit in the classes I want to take.

Is anyone else dealing with this? I have to fit in a tech credit, a pe credit, and health, when I hardly have the time in my school schedule for the classes I'm currently taking.

All of the options here for online are out of price range, because only the struggling students get the FA- of course the student who actually cares gets the lame end of the deal, while the kids who don't care get it even easier. Hate my district. I really just want to hit one of the people in charge.

Summer school might end up being an option in the end, they seem to have one of my needed courses, but I don't have transportation. I have to take a full day of classes to get the transportation.

So true. I have to take an alternitive credit option for gym and health BECAUSE: there are only 6 periods a day, 4 core classes +a language +band/music. I will NEVER be able to fit it in!

I wish my school did the test at the beginning of the year to test out of required courses. I could have tested out of the required English course easy. (SInce we've already gone over subject, predicate, etc. again this year.)

I took PE online because I don't want to waste my time in the gym when I ccould be taking some interesting AP classes. But I had to waste my time in health and communication art...

Well, I was determined to take orchestra all four years. But orchestra takes up 1/4 of my schedule (essentially I was spending a whole year on orchestra), so I ended up taking online classes through CTD and a local program. I also did many summer and dual-enrollment classes to "make up for the losses." It'll work out. The only problem is spending money on pricey online classes. Thankfully, my parents were supportive.

I got my requirements for graduation out of the way as fast as possible! (Starting in the 9th grade)
Now I just have the basic requirements like english, history, math, science, which I planned to take anyways so not that bad.

Personal Fitness online has like 8 chapters I believe they call modules..
You do 4 oral exams on information from the previous two chapters.
You turn in like 4 weird workout sheets which are sooo stupid and boring.
Then its just a bunch of assignments like powerpoints, answering questions, tests, etc. The physical aspect of it isn't that much, and most people cheat on their workouts anyways.

I had that problem before but since I found out about FLVS I cleared up enough for me to take the classes I want. Took LMS, Personal Fitness and Fitness Lifestyle Design. And now just taking some classes for fun. So glad that it's free in Fl.
