Adoption is a freaking disaster in this country. One of my good friends’ sister is adopted. They started the adoption process in America a few years before their oldest child was born. There is a 7 year age gap between the oldest and the adopted. The adopted child is also Korean because they gave up on American adoptions. They finally got a call for an American child when my friend was born. There is a 12 year gap between her and the oldest child.

Useless classes at my high school- we had something like 7 choir classes. Really? Is that necessary?

The reason people are opposed to the programs is that they’re expensive. It’ll drive up our national debt. It’s better off just with abortion, and promoting responsible sexual practices.

So… what many people consider completely morally wrong [me included] to reduce the national debt?

I’m saying that offering abortion NOT FREE but actually paid by students would:
-Reduce crime rates(kids from underage parents are more likely to commit crimes)
-Less taxpayer money is spent on welfare programs and we’ll need fewer child support police
-Higher high school graduation rate as these women will find a better live for themselves
-Higher college graduation rate.

parenting, becuse no one takes it because they want to learn how to take care of children, but becasue its a complete blowoff.
also, fashion merchandising, and foods. all you do is cook!

^^
One of the leading reasons for abortions is that the mother can’t afford to have the child. So by making them pay, we’ll have abortions that are only available to those who are semi-well off.

Restricting access to abortions doesn’t lower pregnancy rates. It merely lowers the amount of safe abortions that occur.

When I say make them pay, I mean a relatively nominal fee, say a few hundred dollars that could be waived depending on the situation. Abortions really aren’t very expensive.

I think that maybe the abortion issue should have its own thread instead of taking over this one.

Back to the topic at hand, our school has a class called PSAE Math. It’s Algebra I and Geometry review that is offered for people who want to get their 3rd math credit without taking Algebra II. It seems like a total blow-off class.

yea we have something called informal algebra 2, which is just algebra 1. hah

quiltmaking class, i imagine that it’d be a peaceful class
