stupid NYU

i just got my letter of rejection/acceptance... i didnt get into the CAS but i got into their general studies program because NYU "really wants" me (YEAH RIGHT)... whatever.. too bad i never even wanted to go! Thank god for DUKE.

Hahaha, I laugh at you.

wait...so you were accepted to Duke and William and Mary (with full tuition) and rejected by NYU CAS? Are they on crack?

i don't know!! seriously! it's sorta crazy. But i suppose crazier things have happened.. last year a girl at my school got rejected from UVA but got practically a full ride to Yale.

Yeah, your example of the girl at your school makes no sense. Yale doesn't give 'full rides'. All financial aid at the Ivy League schools is need-based so that 'fact' shouldn't even enter into the discussion.

first off, it was need based, second "practically" was meant to be the operative word.. they obviously didnt pay for everything.. but she really doesnt have to worry much about paying on her own because they gave her enough

thanks a lot for wasting space. good for nothing

if it's a waste of space why did you bother answering? what was the point of that?

i noticed that 1989DC just goes around, makes stupid comments, and acts like he is too cool for everything...
sudaneya4ever - join the club, i got into gsp too!!!

If you never intended to go there anyway, why did you apply?

Props to NYU Admissions for making the correct call in not accepting you then.

It's a defense mechanism, thats what everyone says when they get rejected. It's like a reflex.

It's kind of immature to react in such a manner, when I was unable to go to NYU- Stern because of no financial backing I tried not to be so bitter.
