<p>The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT) is just a condensed version of the SAT. It focuses on the same objectives the SAT tests, excluding the essay. For juniors, this test enters them into the NMSQT competition, which is basically a competition for scholarships from NMSQT and other participating companies.</p>
<p>While it is fine to practice PSAT tests from McGraw-Hill (I personally did so), it is recommended to refer to previous PSAT’s for authentic practice.</p>
