What would be considered a good GPA at Stuyvesant High School?
@gibby This question has your name written all over it.
Ask your guidance counselor. He/she will know the typical GPA at your particular school.
You would know by either looking at the “Stuyvesant High School profile” or you can find out your class standing. Whatever, you go to an amazingly rigorous school and it is well know for that and for having excellent students (as is Bronx). Ok, erase the high school profile-not on there and it does not rank or provide %iles . I guess your GC is your only option. From the profile “Consider that a GPA of 93 at Stuy would be a 96 or 97 in a less
rigorous and competitive environment. Many students who would
be stars in a more heterogeneous school are simply “good”
among their peers at Stuy.”
