Subject Test Difficulty Levels?

How does CB determine the difficulty (and create the proper curve) on individual administrations of Subject Tests?

I understand that the main SAT’s curves are determined by equating and the experimental sections, but there are no experimental sections on Subject Tests.

I would say their ISN’T a proper curve on the subject tests. Look at the percentile rankings from last year’s SAT Math II, for example. I am not sure why you are worried about this, though.
