Subject Test Scores

Hi guys,
I just got my sat subject test scores back and I got 730 math 2 (I’m extremely annoyed because I thought I did much better) and 720 U.S.H. Are either of these good enough for Penn? I am taking a second ACT in October, so I really didn’t want to have to retake at least one subject test.
Thanks!!

My son had a 730 on the Math 2 and he was admitted. He had a 710 on the literature subject test, as well.

That is a relief to hear! Thank you!

They’re “low” by CC standards, but in actuality, those are great scores.

I am confused as to what that means

That means a lot of the kids that post on College Confidential have exceptionally high test scores, so SAT II scores in the low 700s are “low” compared to them. In reality, though, SAT II scores in the low 700s are very good and just fine as one piece of information that will lead you to getting admitted to selective schools.

Ok thanks! I just don’t want my scores to be detrimental to my chances of acceptance!

@TheWaffleMan149 sorry if my comment was a bit ambiguous; your scores are very good.

@Prospective1998 No worries! I appreciate the response!

Being in the 700s shows that you know the material fairly well, so you are probably fine
