Hi I think I am going to get a subject to dismissal letter in the mail after this Spring quarter and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to get that letter in the mail once the quarter ends.

anyone know?

Nope… are you trying to hide it from your parents or something? If your main concern was finding out whether you’re on STD or not, you’d probably get an email before you receive snail mail…

I already know that I’m on academic probation, but I think that im going to get dismissal so I was wondering how long would it take to come in the mail after the spring quarter ends on like June 10th when my final stuff is due by.

Hi, I was on academic probation last quarter and i dont think i’ve done as well this quarter either. ofcourse, i haven’t gotten my grades yet but im pretty sure my overall gpa will be under 2. under the terms and regulations of my school it says if you are on ap for two quarters you will be subject to dismissal. Does this mean that i get one quarter to fix my mistakes or am i immediately dismissed? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My reasons for doing so poorly are the fact that i took one class, did poorly and the second quarter i took more classes to catch up and repeated the same class(which proved difficult to learn) both times. Please let me know if i can do anything to rectify my situation or work on it.

I am sorry for not posting a new thread, i am new to college confidential and have not figured out the best way to do it yet.

Go read the stuff I just posted/wrote on the thread titles “Std! Questions! Help!!”. You might find some things useful…just make sure you go read the stuff on the link I posted there
