Subject to Disqualification

I really slacked off this quarter and think I might have gotten below a 1.5 GPA so I may be "subject to disqualification". I looked this up and I'm getting mixed answers on what will happen. On one page I read that if you are subject to disqualification, then you have to meet certain requirements to stay within your major. However, other UCI pages say that being subject to disqualification not only disqualifies you from your major, but from UCI. Does anyone know what's going to happen exactly?

Doesn’t your admission get rescinded unless you’re above 3.0UW?

he/she is a student from uci

I believe there are certain GPA requirements that you have to meet in order to stay within some majors, i.e. you have to maintain a 3.0 cumulative for I’m not sure which but its business, but yeah.

What I think will happen to you is that you will probably be DQ’ed from your major, since you are not even 2.0, and they MIGHT DQ you from the school, which is why you are SUBJECT to DQ.

So both things can happen to you, as you listed.

What is your major?

I’m a mechanical engineering major. Does major make a difference?

So, did you appealed? What happened?
