I got a 2340 on the SAT (790 CR, 800 M, 720 W) and a 35 on the ACT (34 E, 36 M, 34 R, 35 S), but only a 9 on the ACT Writing Portion. I am planning on applying ED to Princeton in the fall. Should I submit both the SAT and ACT scores with my college applications, or only those of the SAT? I am afraid that the relatively low writing score on the ACT will hurt me. How much weight does Princeton give to the ACT Writing Portion? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, I meant that I got 790 CR, 800 M, 750 W, so my SAT score is a 2340.

it doesn't matter. both of your scores are plenty good enough. Really, schools like Princeton take the whole application into account; the consideration they'll give to your essay score on the ACT will be minimal at best, if they even care at all. A 9 on the essay isn't going to break your application, so don't worry about it. Besides, seeing as your SAT score is fantastic and Princeton prefers the SAT over the ACT, they probably won't even consider your ACT score.

You want to know something weird? You have the exact same SAT and ACT scores as me, except that my ACT composite was 36. But I got the exact same SAT scores and my ACT writing score was also 9.

I got in (to Princeton, and Harvard and Yale as well), and I'm going to Princeton, so you'll be fine if you have a good essay.
