A simple question: my son will have taken two ACT by Sept and two SAT I by Oct. It’s my understanding that Harvard doesn’t superscore and requires all test results to be submitted. One thing I don’t understand is whether this means ALL of BOTH ACT and SAT I or ALL of either ACT or SAT I? In other words, does my son have the choice to submit either the ACT or SAT I?
Harvard superscore the SAT. That means you can use ScoreChoice for the SAT and you can choose which ACT score you want to submit. You are also free to submit one and not the other.
“You are free to use the College Board Score Choice option or the similar option offered by the ACT.”

^^ Just to follow up on @humanperson’s comment:. Harvard superscores the SAT, but does NOT superscore the ACT. So, submit both SAT scores, but only the best ACT composite score.
Thank you, both, for your clarification!
As an added clarification: Harvard does NOT require a student to submit all test scores. If one of your son’s ACT composite scores is HIGHER than either of his two SAT scores, then he should just submit his best ACT Composite score. Ditto if his SAT scores are higher than either of his ACT scores – then he shouldn’t bother submitting his ACT scores. If your son took the new SAT, however, it’s a bit trickier to make those comparisons: https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/05/16/act-and-college-board-offer-conflicting-views-how-compare-sat-and-act-scores
Thank you! @gibby Great to know.
