So I took the SAT and submitted my scores to universities. But I am unsatisfied with my SAT score and wish to take the ACT in February. But, I just found out that you cannot take the ACT WITH Writing on the Feb date as an international. So, do you think universities will accept the ACT even without writing? Like, will they have an issue with the fact they don't have my ACT writing score despite the fact I sent them my SAT score, which includes writing? Can a SAT writing score make up for the lack of ACT writing?

I REALLY need an answer to this.

Anyone? :(

I may not have the biggest authority on this subject, but quite honestly, I can’t imagine why universities would just ignore your ACT w/o writing if you score well. If you are not compromising much by taking the Feb ACT, then I would encourage you to study your butt off and send in those scores. Remember, they are humans, not machines. Even if there is a small deviation, they would not count it against you since they wish to look at you holistically. Now, if admissions was controlled by rule-abiding machines, then the situation would be different. Luckily, it is not.

That makes a lot of sense. I don’t see why they wouldn’t consider my score either. Thanks man!
