Submitted essay with mistake. Please Help!

<p>I accidentally submitted my college essay to CU- Boulder with an error</p>

<p>"In the workplace, witnessed first hand how people of differing cultures..."</p>

<p>Its supposed to be "In the workplace, I witnessed first hand how people of differing cultures..."</p>

<p>I forgot the word I!</p>

<p>Plus in the essay I called the school UC boulder instead of CU!
Im freaking out -- I can't believe I was so careless...</p>

<p>I know it's a minor error but I really want to attend this school.</p>

<p>Would it be a bad idea to email the admissions representative and address the issue?
Or would that make it worse?</p>

<p>Hmmm…I don’t think they will let you change your essay, but it can never hurt to contact them and say how upset you are that your top-choice school may not be getting the best impression of you.</p>

<p>i honestly dont think it is a huge deal. I sumbitted an essay to westchester and put pennstate instead of westchester and still got accepted. And in my drexel essay i had at least 4 errors and they still accepted me. So dont sweat it. youll be fine=)</p>
