Submitted my application. Ease my nerves- chance me?

Hey all,

I submitted my application in December. I’m super nervous about the outcome. I feel like it could really go either way! Chance my application? I’m just gonna throw some facts out here.

GPA W/ UW: 3.7 (now 3.8 after 1st semester, but I submitted a 3.7) / 3.5

ACT: 27 (No Writing)

I didn’t do well first semester of Junior year, but I was starting a new job and had a whole lot going on in my family and I had my counselor talk about that on his letter of rec. My senior year grades have been strong (4.0)

AP: AP Psych (4), AP Lang (4), AP Lit (TBD), AP Enviro. (TBD)

The rigor of my classes has steadily been improving since Freshman year.

I have been employed by Starbucks (a difficult company to get into as a minor) for 18 months. I have a recommendation from my employer.

I did a good deal of volunteer work prior to part time (25 hrs/ week) employment.

My essays, I feel, were strong, but I did not talk specifically about Christian faith in the faith essay, although I know this is not required.

Some academic honors, and a member of my schools International Thespian Honor Society board.

Low-income.

Let me know if theres anything else I haven’t mentioned that would be a factor! Thanks.

ACT with writing is recommended. Anything that is recommended for admissions should be considered important. This may impact your application since you stated ACT with no writing.
Job and volunteer work will help.

Pepperdine: High Match

Thank you! I know the ACT with writing is recommended. By the time of any further ACT testing I couldn’t afford the fees that would make the application in time. Thank you for your input. By the way, when you say High Match do you mean that I have a lower chance of being a match or higher? Ex: If it was a scale from easiest to hardest High match is a 6/10 rather than a 5/10?
