Submitted my USC app at 12am on the dot? -_-

ad;lfskafslj;kad;kl I can't believe I did that. The minutes just passed so fast :(

I know that you can turn it in at 12am YOUR TIME... It is indeed 12:09am currently where I live. I submitted the Common app like 2 seconds after the clock turned 12am and the supplement like 20 seconds after that. Will they throw out my application because it was 20 seconds late? Gahhh... omg

Mine was 47 seconds late, hehe.

well, glad I’m not the only one, lol

You will probably be fine if the schools can override the computer time.

This is a dangerous practice to submit at the last minute. Many years ago before computer filings were allowed, I was working on a case and the judge set the deadline of July 2, 5:00 pm. The rule was you had to file the brief in the clerk’s office and in the judge’s office. I raced to the courthouse (I was the low level clerk, not the attorney) and decided to go to the judge’s office first as it was behind security. I then raced downstairs to the clerk’s window and it was CLOSED. I’m standing there in shock, panting, and out walks the judge’s clerk, and takes the filing from me, and takes it back into the office to date stamp it. We’d been in a long trial and I’d been nice to her, so she was nice in return even though I was 1 minute late.

I’m still standing there in shock, still panting, and up walks the clerk from the big firm we were battling. Out walks Betsy again, takes one look at him and says, “We’re closed” and walks out for the holiday weekend.

Two lessons: Be on time. Be nice to the clerks.

^^
Great story!

twoinanddone, loved your story!

I agree with other posters, USC will most likely accept an application that is a few minutes late.
