How much of a difference does it make in admissions if I submit only 2 subject tests instead of 3?

I was planning on submitting either Math 2 and bio or if I do well in the chemistry one, math 2, bio and chem.

If I were to submit just Math 2 and bio , would that lower my chances of admission to top schools, like the Ivy leagues and duke and stanford???

Thanks

First off, some schools require 3 subject tests (Georgetown) (though not many) so you need to send in 3. Other schools highly recommend that you send in 3 (Johns Hopkins), and other schools, it doesn’t matter, and they just take the 2 highest you send in. So do some research to find out about the schools you are sending your scores to, and make your decision from there.

@satman1111 mentioned the only 2 anomolies. Those are the only 2 that it matters for. Yet, I know people who have gotten into JHU with only 2 of these tests.

ive been doing some research and most of them require 2 but say 3 is recommended , for those ones would it make much of a difference if i submit only 2 ?
