Submitting FAFSA one day later than the priority deadline - How much impact?

Hello,

I just submitted my FAFSA to Colgate University.

The priority deadline for Colgate is January 15th.

However, due to time zone differences, it got submitted at 1:20am EST on January 16th. (I live in the west coast)

I am worrying how much differnce missing the priority deadline will make - will they give me less financial aid?

Ask them. Either they will process it as priority or not.

It depends on how on the ball Colgate will be when processing the apps. You are at risk, yes, but you might luck out.
