Submitting Research Report for application:

I am curious as to when colleges request a research report/activity, i.e. Duke University, what qualifies as a significant research activity that you should describe or submit to colleges? Plus, is it better if you just put it in abstract form or is it best to submit the report, i.e. about 10-12 pages and perhaps the science department will read it and make an evaluation?

By the way, could anyone provide me a link on the web to examples of reports that are quality enough to submit to colleges? I just want to get the sense of how a research report is finalized and how it looks like. When I ask for a web link for a sample of a report, I do not expect Einstein's report of the Special Theory of Relativity or anything, but just an example. Or, I would hope if anyone out there is also willing to private message me an example of a report. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

other tips?

I PM'ed you.

I am curious about this too, should I send my entire report or what?

other thoughts?
