<p>Since I'll be asking for teacher recommendations early on during the school year, I would like to ask if it's okay for teachers to mail recommendations to colleges before I mail my part of the application, ie would the schools just throw away the rec if they haven't recieved an app from you yet?</p>
<p>no problem. they will sit in one corner, and when your folder is opened (happens after they rceive your app), it 'll find its way in. together with SATs/ACTs, etc.</p>
