I sent in a bunch of teacher recommendations in late October, but for regular decision consideration (ie I haven't done anything with my actual app). When the schools recieved the recs, they just saved them to my file to wait for the rest of my application, right? They wouldn't have done something like putting them with the early action recs/throw them away, would they have?

I wish more schools would have credential checking... haha.

Clarification: I'm mainly wondering about Common App recs, where there's no place to indicate whether you're applying early or regular decision.

Colleges are accustomed to getting various parts of the application on a piecemeal basis. Generally speaking they will start a file for you and wait for the other parts (including the app!) to come in.

I sent my SAT scores, ACT scores, college course transcript, 2-3 recommendations, and school report to 9 schools before submitting my apps, and everything has been received properly. You'll be fine.
