<p>When I paste my essay into the online application (the common app), it doesn't automically double space it for me. Should I put a space in between every line? How did some of you guys submit your essays?</p>
<p>i don't think you're supposed to double-space essays (they're not going to make corrections on your essay, so the extra space is wasted). i just skipped lines between paragraphs.</p>
<p>double-spacing essays is not necessary, but my schools college counselor said that double-spacing essays that are not too long can be a favor for the admissions reps because it is simply easier to read (she used to be an admissions rep...)</p>
<p>if you want it double spaced....double space it in your word processor and then copy and paste it....</p>
