Sucked at Spanish 1, Killing Spanish 2

It's very weird, but I barely got a B- in Spanish 1, and only got the B- because I did an extra credit food project that brought my grade up from a 74.5% to an 80%. But in Spanish 2, I have gotten 100% on almost every test, and the lowest score is a 95% and Spanish 2 is usually harder than Spanish 1, It is in part because I have a good teacher this year, but a lot of people in my class are struggling this year, who had an easy time last year, but now it reversed. And I seem to be better at harder stuff in every subject, this is just an extreme. Is anybody else like this?

French 1 (A+B) in middle school was pretty easy. French 2 was pretty easy, French 3 was harder. French 4 is essentially French 3 review, because our teacher sucks. Most people in my class either hate French or love it.

french 1-2 were difficult for me…and then it clicked and french 3+ were easy

I’m a freshman taking Spanish 2. I’m killing it right now, but I killed it too in Spanish 1 last year in 8th. I had a 94 last year and Im doing really good right now, and unless something else is added to my grade, I’m gonna have a 97 on my report card. I studied over the summer and I study it sometimes. My class is hard. Everyone, including the people who spoke the language got from a 70 to an 85 on the first exam. We also have oral parts on the tests too, but I tend to do good on those. I guess it depends on your teacher.

Spanish 2 is hardest at my school
I did about the same in Spanish I & II (95ish)
Spanish III is my highest grade, but the median in difficulty

Chinese 1: 98%
Chinese 2H: 99%

you know it.

Same here. For some reason AP Spanish 4 is alot easier than last year’s (Freshman) Honors Spanish 3. I have a 94% currently in AP 4 while I struggled to maintain a B last year. My guess is that transition to highschool may play a significant role.

Latin III and Latin IV have been much easier for me than Latin I and Latin II. Latin II for some reason was the most difficult, while Latin III was the easiest (100% for the year.)

Spanish IV is a lot harder yet a lot easier than Spanish III for me.

Spanish III was harder content-wise (Spanish IV is literally a review of Spanish 1 at my school_, but the level of work is a lot more difficult in Spanish IV (there are listening sections on tests, and a LOT more busy work…). My grade is slightly lower now, but mainly because I lack motivation… It’s hard to get motivated when everything is busy work.

Spanish I was easy. I would’ve made the highest grade if I didn’t screw up on a quiz that I didn’t study for. (It was introductory phrases in which I completely second-guessed myself and left of accent marks.)

As for Spanish II, I have the highest grade with a 101.3 average. I don’t know, I feel like Mississippi curriculum is very easy despite common core… Sometimes I don’t feel challenged, and it’s making me questioning my “intelligence.”
