<p>USC week is my Christmas. Already looking for pregame stuff.</p>
<p>Notre Dame has an unmatched opportunity in the era of Charlie Weis in the next two games, and that is to get our signature win. The only games close to this was the 2005 Michigan game, that was debunked by their dropoff later in the season. The USC game was the other one, and even though it showed we could hang with the best, it was still a loss. This week we have #3 USC in their house, and after that we probably have Florida in the Sugar Bowl. If we win one or both, neither can be played down, and have to be looked at by the rest of the nation as quality wins.</p>

<p>Arkansas loses to LSU this week.. so they drop out of top 8</p>
<p>then in the sec championship game arkansas beats florida.. then florida drops out of top 8 .. but then arkansas would have already loss so those 2 are out
then its basically number 3 usc and 4 notre dame..</p>
<p>if we beat usc by 20 + ... we could contend with michigan for numba 2</p>
<p>i still dont htink we could move past them.. but it would be exciting if all lthat stuff happened</p>
<p>I will be Notre Dame's biggest fan come Saturday. I never root for the Irish, but for once, it serves my Wolverines' purpose, so I hope you guys do the Midwest proud. Then if only Free Shoes University can find a way to beat the Gators, Michigan's back in business! Hehe!!!</p>
<p>Booo Michigan. That OSU game was so hard for me because I knew I had to cheer for Michigan and honestly it was almost impossible. I have a ton of respect for the school, don't get me wrong, but UGH. I mean, think if it is not us who gets to go...Florida, Michigan or USC. I guess I like Mich over the other three but how much does that stink for an Irish fan? I would rather see Arkansas somehow magically make it.</p>
<p>Chillin...even if all that happens I say we would still play Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. No way we move past Michigan.</p>

<p>Got my FUSC shirt on and just watched Lee pick Southern Cal. SWEET. I want to see Carlson come out in pads and see the look on Poodle's face when he realizes he's not ready for a tight end like John.</p>

<p>USC should be embarrassed. That was the weakest GameDay crowd of the season. None of the announcers had trouble talking over the crowd. The signs either sucked, or went too far. I guess all's far in this (as Charlie would say) "nasty" rivalry.</p>
