Suggest me some schools please!

I'm freshman at Nichols College, you may have read previous threads of mine, and I want to transfer. I really like Loyola College in Maryland but I'm having trouble finding other schools I like. My current unofficial GPA is 3.64. My GPA is only unofficial because Nichols does not count progress reports any more.

I want a larger school than my current school, which does not say much because Nichols enrolls only 1,100. I’m aiming for schools with a student body of about 3,000-7,000.

My high school stats were abominable (2.5 GPA and poor SAT scores). I would like to not send those if at all possible. I’m in four clubs at Nichols- marketing, management, accounting, and psychology. I worked at a bank for the past two years. I might be getting an internship with Putnam Investments. I have done community service for the Boys and Girls club with the management and accounting clubs. I will be eligible for Alpha Lambda Delta and I will make the Dean’s List.

Could you please refer me to some schools that have a solid finance program?

....bump....

anyone?

bump again

NYU Stern. and check businessweek.com for good business schools

would NYU Stern be an extreme reach?

sort of, youre in the range though. your 3.6 is good cause NYU says students between a 3.0 and 4.0 i think are considered competitive.

Thanks everyone! Any other schools I should take a look at? I know the elite business schools but do any of them not require the SAT/ HS transcript?

they vary, but if uv only been in college for 1 year than they will 99% chance, look at both hs and SAT

yeah i know, do they put a lot of weight on sat/ hs transcript or has the weight been lessened?

The more credits your complete after hs the less weight they put on it, as simple as that. I think you have a decent shot a loyola though with that gpa, again idk ur hs stats cause u didnt post them but i would guess ur gpa was -3.0, even with that i think u hav a shot at loyola with a 3.6
